Licensure and Certifications

VA Registered Nurses which include the VA Travel Nurse Corps Program RN may practice in any VA medical facility, regardless of location, with current, unrestricted licensure in any state territory (e.g., Puerto Rico, commonwealth or the District of Columbia).

Prior LPN experience:
               
                LPN License information must be included on application.
                Provide evidence or references regarding successful LPN practice.

So as you travel from one VA Medical Center to another from Florida to Maine or Washington to Texas you will not need to continually be applying for endorsement of your license.  This is just another benefit in working at a VA Medical Center.

BLS (Basic Life Support) required from American Heart Association and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) needed for Critical Care.
